ABOUT RANDY

Randy Ramsey is founder of Ramsey Brands, Inc.™ (RBI), an Illinois-based corporation.  Randy has been described by clients and friends as a person with a relentless work ethic—which is fueled by what seems like limitless energy.

RANDY RAMSEY -BIO-

Randy Ramsey is a business development professional with an MBA in Marketing from DePaul University - Charles H. Kellstadt Graduate School of Business.  Randy has extended his network reach to partner with highly successful businesses.

His specialty services include brand marketing and promotional solutions for work comp, employee purchasing programs, financial benefits, food distribution, management consulting, executive recruiting and print.

Randy has over 30 years of business experience with extensive work in sales and marketing, including companies in the U.S., Europe and China. Randy has been instrumental in developing business with Aon Corporation, AutoZone, DePaul University and Navistar International Corporation. Before joining HH Global in 2004, Ramsey served as President of Ramsey Advertising since March 1989.

Randy is a co-founder of the Mulliganeers® charity organization which began with this mission slogan: "Giving Kids a Second Chance". Since 1995, the Mulliganeers have donated over $6 million to families with children in need of medical support.

Randy's other charitable commitments include Blessings in a Backpack and Dreams for Kids.  Randy was a member of DePaul University’s men’s basketball team for the legendary coach, Ray Meyer. Qualified for the Elite 8 NCAA men’s basketball tournament in 1978, Sweet 16 in 1976 and inducted into DePaul University’s Basketball Hall of Fame in 2004.

 

Ramsey resides in Riverside, IL and received a Bachelor of Science degree in education, DePaul University 1978 and an MBA in marketing from DePaul University in 1983.

ORGANIZATIONS

The Mulliganeers is a 501(c)3 organization dedicated to raising funds for children and families in need.

       2006 - Present

 

Partners with America to ensure impoverished elementary schoolchildren are fed on the weekends throughout the school year. The Power of 80: $80 feed one American schoolchild on the weekend for a 38 week school year.

TALF's purpose is to secure resources from Thornton Township High School Alumni and friends to create new and to enhance current academic extracurricular programs.

The V Foundation for Cancer Research was founded by ESPN and legendary basketball coach Jim Valvano with one goal in mind: to achieve Victory Over Cancer®.
